Meet Volunteers Needed

  • Peewees: Volunteers will be needed to help get the kids to where they need to be. For example, the peewees will need a dedicated parent to walk them over to the start line, line them up, walk them from the 100 finish to the 200 start, and most importantly, match them up with their parents when they finish the 200. Children will not be able to leave the track at the finish until they are met by their parents at the end of the 200. We also need volunteer timers.  We do not generally keep track of the peewee's time, but it is nice for them to hear as they finish the race. All you need is a cell phone or a stopwatch.

  • Varsity: Parents will be needed for the season to start to help the kids get where they need to be.  During this meet, announcements will be made to call the kids to the track or field events.  Some of the older kids will be able to get where they need to be on their own, but those who are new to the sport may need some help.  There is official timing for the competitive meet, so there is no need for timers.
