Region 18 CYO Champs!

Congradulations to all of the boys on their championship game!  It was a short but amazing playoff run.  In the semis we squeaked out a last minute win against St. Mary's.  In the championship game, we needed to go to double over-time to beat St. Basil's, and be awarded the well deserved trophies. 

If you weren't at the game, you missed a sold out Sacred Heart gym, cheering so loud the coach's couldn't hear themselves in the huddle, and an atmosphere that would challenge most high school playoff games.

In the years since I've been coaching basketball at HFS CYO (13 +), I must say that was THE most exciting game I've ever seen, much less been a part of.

 Thanks to all the parents, family and friends that came out to support us.  Now it's on to the Philadelphia Archdiocese Tournament, and hopefully a few more wins!  If not, at least we'll know we finished on top!

I hope you all had a good time getting back into the b-ball swing last night.  It certainly seemed like everyone (including myself) is excited about the upcoming season.

Be ready to get to work Thursday night!

I'd also like the parents to stick around after droppoing off their son for a quick meeting and to run thru a short list of topics I'd like to discuss!
